Sandra Susan Morgan Pratt

On Friday, November 4, 2022, Mrs. Sandra Susan Morgan Pratt, 71 passed away.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Legacy Campus, 420 Hopewell Church Rd., Monroe with Rev. Brian Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park in Wadesboro. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Sandra was born December 16, 1950, in Mecklenburg County, NC and was a daughter of the late Sarah Ione Little and the late Homer Lee Morgan. She was a 1969 graduate of Harding High School in Charlotte.

Some of her favorite pastimes included, providing home cooked meals for her family and her sweet potato casserole was always a family favorite, doing crafts, fishing with the grandkids, sewing dolls for her church's missions, gardening, but most of all, teaching her children about Jesus.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Ernie Pratt; her daughter, Shelly Jones and husband, Rick; her son, Leo Samuel Pratt; her grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Julianna Jones, Justin Jones, and Jessica Jones; her half-brother, Jeff Morgan and wife, Shirley; her sister-in-law, Vivian Reynolds and husband, Bill and her nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Sandra will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, for her dry sense of humor and especially for being a prayer warrior.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Freedom School, a Christian school in the Dominican Republic that Sandra's grandkids have supported through mission trips www.itisforfreedom.com
