Sandra Ann Moore Howard, 67, the widower of Retired Master Sergeant John Pratt Howard, Jr., went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Conway Medical Center.
Mrs. Howard was born the daughter of Hilary Dolar Moore and Nellie Swails Moore on March 2, 1953 in Andrews. She attended Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her greatest enjoyment and love was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and a loyal friend.
John and Sandra were married on February 2, 1972 and celebrated 44 years together. Their home was blessed with three children, Jason (Renee) Howard, Dennis Howard and Amanda H. (Kelly) Cannon; and five grandchildren, Austin, Joshua, Ethan, Morgan, and Addison. She is also survived by: four brothers, Bobby Moore (Diane), Laverne Moore (Linda), Herbert Moore (Desi), and Arthur Moore (Peggy); and three sisters, Patsy Lockliear (Keith), Vickie Martin (Freddie), and Delynn Wilson (Bubbie).
She was predeceased by: her parents; her husband; a son, Dennis; a brother, E.J. Moore; and two sisters, Inell Goude and Dorothy Jordan.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Goude.
