Following a difficult battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Sally Jean Little, 68, passed away on June 2, 2022 at her daughter's home in Pleasant View, UT. Sally was born January 28, 1954 in Rexburg, ID to Jack and Raya Lewis.
Sally grew up in the Rexburg area where she attended high school and later Ricks College and BYU. She then continued on to follow her passion of teaching school, instilling a love of learning in many students.
Sally's greatest passion in life was being a mother and grandmother. She had four children and fourteen grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Sally had many talents. She was musically inclined and enjoyed playing the piano, flute and guitar. She shared her love of music by teaching piano lessons for many years to family and friends.
Sally was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many church callings throughout her life. She had a strong faith and belief that sustained her to the end. Her firm testimony was a light and strength to those around her.
Her quiet acts of service, love, and friendship touched many lives. Despite life's many challenges, Sally never complained. She was always optimistic in the face of adversity. She left a legacy of love, endurance, patience, and faith and will be greatly missed.
Sally is survived by her husband, Dwight; children, Dwight (Jamie), Angeana (Aaron) Erickson,
Richard (Lana), and Mary Ann (Joseph) Bennion; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Steven, Keith, John Richard; and sister, Suzan Larsen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 12:30 p.m., with a viewing held prior to services from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 N 1st E in Rexburg, ID. A viewing will be Monday, June 6 ,2022, 7-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Interment will be in Sugar City Cemetery, 2000 E 1000 N, Sugar City, ID.
