Sally was born February 25, 1939 in Kilgore, TX, the daughter of Felice Stinnett and John Rex Stegall. One of her fondest memories was her childhood and family's friendship with the late Van Cliburn and his mother, Rildia Bee O'Bryan Cliburn who taught Sally to play the piano at an early age. A graduate of Texas Christian University and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Sally was a 1959 Steeplechase Club Debutante, a member of River Crest Country Club, The Petroleum Club of Fort Worth, Ridglea Country Club and Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association of Fort Worth and a strong supporter of Jewel Charity Ball. Sally was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Fulwiler Jr., her parents and Stinnett family members. The family extends their thanks to all the special people who have given care to Sally, including Linda Griffith, Minnie McGinty, Kim Stewart, Tracy Hollabaugh and Rene Armstrong. Although she was an only child, she enjoyed a large extended family and numerous dear friends.
