Ryan David Hetrick, 20, of Salisbury, PA, passed away in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Springs, PA. Born June 30, 2000, in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of David and Angela (Hetrick) Hetrick, Salisbury, PA. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Blaine R. Hetrick. Ryan was a graduate of Salisbury-Elk Lick High School, Class of 2018. He was a maintenance worker for the County of Somerset and enjoyed working and spending time at Short's Sugar Camp. He was a member of Salisbury Fire Dept., Glade Mt. Hunting Club and St. John's Lutheran Church. He loved riding motorcycle with his motorcycle buddies. Ryan also loved cars and was well known to a special group of car club friends around the tristate area. Ryan was known for his goofy sense of humor, infectious laugh and making friends everywhere he went. He had a smile and personality that would light up a room. Along with his parents, he is also survived by one brother, Tanner Hetrick, Salisbury; girlfriend, Madison McKenzie and Madison's parents, Heath and Missy McKenzie, Salisbury; grandparents, Wilma Hetrick, Salisbury; Louise and Roy Beal, Akron, OH; Douglas C. Hetrick, Salisbury; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the St. John's Lutheran Church on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tyler Graham officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Cremation will follow services.
