Roy Calvin Duff , 87 Aug 13, 1934 - Mar 11, 2022 Roy Calvin Duff, 87, of Cumberland, died March 11,2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born August 13, 1934 in Berkeley Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Billy Sam Duff and Helen Elizabeth (Grove) Duff. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy.
Roy was a 1953 graduate of Fort Hill High School.
He had served in the U.S. Navy.
Roy retired from United Insurance Company of America, where he was an insurance agent.
He had attended Christ United Methodist Church and belonged to Potomac Lodge #100, A.F. & A.M.
He loved WVU Football and enjoyed his season tickets for 25 years.
Survivors include his son, Scot Duff and wife Jane; grandson, Andrew Duff and fianc?e Megan; and, special friend Mary Ours.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5-8 PM. Potomac Lodge #100, A.F. & A.M. will conduct a masonic service at 5:00 PM
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with Rev. Harold R. McClay, Jr., officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
