Roy James Burchfield Big Rapids, Michigan June 6, 1963 - May 25, 2022 Big Rapids – Roy James Burchfield, 58, of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born June 6, 1963, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Euell and Audrey (Henke) Burchfield, and graduated from Pendleton High School in 1982. Roy was employed at Ventra Evart for the last 13 years. He is survived by his sister Linda (John) Getts of Big Rapids; his brother Terry Burchfield of Kentucky; his niece Shelli (John) Dreyer of Big Rapids; and great nephew and niece Matthew and McCayla Honeycutt. Roy was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles. A Memorial gathering will be from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Shelli and John's home 1223 Darwin Ave., Big Rapids.
