Rowena Ruth Buck McReynolds
December 24, 1959 - January 30, 2021 passed away from COVID 19. Rowena was born to Carl and Patsy Buck in Norman, OK. She graduated salutatorian from Lewisville High School, class of 1978 and completed her education at the University of Oklahoma in 1983 majoring in Chemical Engineering. She and Jeff settled in Edmund, OK and later Plano, TX where she worked for AT&T and Oracle.
Rowena left the corporate world when they moved to Highland Village, TX to raise her children, Alexander (Sasha), Anastasia (Ana) and Maria (Masha). She served as room mom, marching band helper and eventually received a Lifetime PTA membership. She enjoyed tinkering with her home and helping her children with their interests. Her sharp wit and laughter will be missed. Services were held via Zoom on February 6, 2021.
Rowena is predeceased by her mother Patsy Creel Buck and her husband Jeff. She is survived by her children Sasha, Ana and Masha of Flower Mound, her father Carl Buck of Highland Village, brother Alex Buck and his wife Mary Beth of Highland Village and sister Carla Buck and her husband Jack Levy of Hermosa Beach, CA as well as nieces Emmy Buck and Adlaine Buck and nephews Spencer Levy, Zander Levy and Eiler Buck. Her wish is that we would all wear our masks and wash our hands until this terrible virus is under control.
