Roslyn Adams Ellis

Roslyn Adams (Cohen) Ellis, age 81, died Monday, December 26, 2022 surrounded by family in Northern Virginia. She was born January 14, 1941 to the late Simon and Elizabeth Cohen. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by son Bradley David Ellis and her former husband Brian John Ellis. In her youth Roslyn was a defense contract draftsman for US Steel and was a stylist for several beauty salons in the Pittsburgh and Seattle areas. From 1983 to her retirement in 2003 she managed several real estate branches in Allegheny County. She is survived by her son, Brian Francis Ellis III, her stepson Brian Keith Ellis, her grandchildren Bradley, Addison, Thomas and Sophie Ellis, her brother Robert Cohen, her daughter-in law Dr. Kathleen Koeck, her nephew Richard Cohen, her niece Susan Ortiz, her sister-in-law Joan Cohen, and many cousins, in-laws and extended family. Friends will be received at her Carnegie, PA residence on Saturday, January 7th, from 11 AM to 3 pm. Burial will be private at Valley Cemetery Imperial PA Sunday January 8th.
