Rose was born and raised in Brownsville, Tx., she moved to Houston, Tx., and lived there for 20yrs. Rose worked as a Clerk at Homer Hanna High School, also worked for a short time with her sister Sylvia at Trevino Funeral Home.
Rose then started working as a personal caregiver and continue working as a caregiver in Houston, this was the job Rose loved the most and had
the heart of taking care of the elderly patients in their homes. Rose loved her family and was very generous to all who needed her.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Juanita Dimas; her brother, Ruben Dimas; her sister, Janie Strong; her two brothers-in-law, Raul Garza and Richard Strong; and a nephew, Ruben Dimas Jr.
She will be dearly missed by those that survive her, her daughter, Yvonne (David) Martinez Bon; her grandchildren; Amber (Steve) Valles of Midland, Tx., David (Lauren Gross) J. Bon of Grapevine, Tx., Jacob R. Bon and James D. Bon, both attending college at UTPB in Odessa, Tx.; her great-grandchildren, Emersyn Rose, and Keziah Hope Valles. She will also be missed by her siblings, Sylvia D. Petrarca, Armando Dimas, Diana Garza, Gracie, and Dennis
Dimas; her sisters-in-law, Debbie, and Carol Dimas, and numerous nieces and nephews; and her aunt, Olga Garcia from Houston, Tx.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be; David Jesus Bon, Jacob Ruben Bon, David Bon Sr., Dennis Dimas, Richard J.Strong, and Justin Mendez.
