Rosemary Kathleen Reiter, 87, of South Bend, Indiana and Scottsdale, Arizona passed away in Scottsdale Saturday, March 20, 2021. Rosemary was born on November 2, 1933, in South Bend to the late Andrew A. and Elizabeth A. (Szabo) Toth. On May 15, 1954, Rosemary married her Central High School sweetheart John Reiter. They enjoyed over 66 years of marriage. John survives with their children, Christine (Craig) Hughes of Scottsdale, Karen (Steve) Kubsch of Granger, Indiana, and daughter-in-law, Cari Reiter of South Bend. She is also survived by a sister, Liz Keszei of South Bend; and a brother, Andy (Darlene) Toth of Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Reiter in 1994.
Rosemary was lucky enough to enjoy and be actively involved in the lives of all 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She loved being around her ever-growing family, never failing to acknowledge each child's birthday. She will forever be known as one half of "G&G".
Rosemary retired from Notre Dame Law School after 23 years of service. She was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church in South Bend and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale. She was also a member of Christ Child Society and Service Guild.
Her love and light will be missed by all who knew her. Her fierce dedication to her family and community is a tremendous loss.
Private burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame, Indiana. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St Vincent de Paul at St Anthony or Christ Child Society of South Bend in Rosemary's name.
