Rosemary A. Pisaneschi, 76, of Rome, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 20, 202 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Utica on July 16, 1944, a daughter of the late William and Rosemary (Mautner) Hoffman. On March 5, 1982, she was united in marriage to Bruno Pisaneschi. He passed away April 29, 2005.
Rosemary was a LPN and she worked for many years at hospital in the Utica area and the Marcy Psychiatric Center for 20 years. She was a member of the Rome Christian Center and was very active in youth baseball throughout the years. She was a longtime member and president of the RFA Baseball Dugout Club,
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Dennis Sturdevant; two sons, Michael Randall and James Randall (Melissa Karrat); two sisters, Susan Topi and Jane McConniell; two stepchildren, Roger Pisaneschi (Jodi) and Susan Kolassa (David); nine grandchildren, Robert Irvin, Marissa and Allison Randall, Kristina Conway, Jeremy Kolassa, Roger, Ian, Hunter and Spencer Pisaneschi; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws from the Randall family. She was predeceased by a brother, William Hoffman, Jr.; a stepson, Edward Pisaneschi; and the father of her children, Robert Randall.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home at one time, everyone must wear a face covering upon entering and proper social distancing protocols must be adhered to once inside
