Rose Marie Glover, age 81 of Franklin, passed from this life on Monday January 27, 2020 at her son's residence. She was born on Wednesday May 18, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to John and Catherine (White) Maxwell. She married Robert Gene Glover on September 3, 1961 at Marietta United Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2001. Rose was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Reverend Loren Maxwell.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (L.B.) Swafford of Franklin, her son Johnny (Evelyn Humble) Glover of Franklin. Two grandchildren Adam Glover and Samantha Glover.
Rose was a homemaker, she also worked for 22 years at Grace United Methodist Church as their custodian, worked in the sound room and helped in the nursery. She worked in the kitchen at Country Charm for 3 years and she worked at McDonalds at 44 and the interstate for 7 years. She was a lifetime member of Marietta United Methodist Church, collected tea pots and really enjoyed working; however, her greatest enjoyment came from her love for her family and spending time with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be Thursday January 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Marietta United Methodist Church with the Reverends Donald Bradley and Wayne Grumbling officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin.
