CUBA CITY, WI - Rosanne "Rosie" Keleher, 91, of Cuba City, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton, WI, with Fr. Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery in Benton, WI. Family & friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, February 9th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton, WI. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Rosie was born on August 23, 1932 to August & Eleanora (Sanderson) Koehler. She grew up in Galena, IL and graduated from Galena High School. She married Edgar Keleher on April 15, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galena, IL. Together they farmed for a short time in Scales Mound and then farmed and raised their family between Cuba City & Benton, WI. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Rosie enjoyed her flower gardens and had a knack for decorating and interior design. She was a great cook, who was best known for her famous pickles and had the best cookies ever. She loved caring for & feeding her family, most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Edgar; 2 children: Daniel (Ellen) Keleher of Cuba City, WI and Catherine (Bob Kunkel) Wills of Hazel Green, WI; 4 grandchildren: Bill (Melissa) Keleher of Benton, WI, Stacy (Michael) Casper of Galena, IL, Emily (Tim) Middendorf of Hazel Green, WI and Ann (Aubrey) Butler of Boscobel, WI; 13 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Nolan & Adalyn Keleher, Kayla, Makenzie, Landon & Logan Casper, Tanner & Ella Middendorf, Abram, Nora, Dane & Celia Butler; a sister-in-law, Rose Keleher; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Francis & Cecelia Keleher; a grandson, Ben Keleher; great-grandson, Caden Keleher; 4 sisters: Marilyn (Wilbur) Hammer, Eileen (Harley) Zeal, Calista (Albertus) Glasker & Helen (Clarence) Glasker; and 5 brothers-in-law: Marcellus (Irene), Harold (Betty), Donald (Anna Mae), Delbert (Cecelia) & Melvin Keleher.
