Rosa Linda Rodriguez was born in Lamesa, Texas on February 18th, 1959. However, she lived her life mainly in the Muleshoe area. Rosa would go on to marry the love of her life, Juan Rodriguez, in April of 1978. They moved around a lot for their first years together, then finally settled in Muleshoe in 1991 with 7 of their children. Over the course of their time together they would go on to have 8 beautiful children together. Her only desire in life was to blossom a family of her own and to be a mother. Rosa dedicated her life to her children and to all of her family. Rosa was one to treat every deserving soul like family. She was always so quick to pray for others, make food for others, say wise and kind words to others, or simply hug another if they needed it. Her entire day would be filled with errands for other people and she would not stop until every last one was done. As far as food goes, she is famous in Muleshoe for her delicious burritos, especially those brisket ones (just ask anyone in town). And as far as prayer; Rosa was a devoted Christian woman serving as a member of the Iglesia Bautista John 3:16 here in Muleshoe. Every Sunday morning she would pick up her eldest daughter Lisa and her mother Annie for their morning service. She loved yard sales, thrift shops, antiques, and more than anything else her garden. Rosa, lived up to her name by nurturing and caring for a menagerie of flowers, bushes, and trees. It's almost poetic how even when not constantly caring and helping others grow, she was assisting nature itself in these same ways. She was truly One of a kind. Rosa was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Flores Sr., her two brothers Manuel Flores Jr. and Julio Flores, as well as her sister Mary Flores. However she is survived by her mother Annie Flores and 7 brothers and sisters: Rachel Olivas, Alice Flores, Bobby Flores, Oscar Flores, Ramon Flores, Joe Flores, and Olga Serbine. She is also survived by her husband Juan Rodriguez and their 8 children: Lisa Rodriguez, Christy Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez, Sabrina Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, and Christopher Flores. As well as her 13 grandchildren who survive her; Deven Ragsdale, Davian Ragsdale, Nathaniel Jaramillo, RJ Jaramillo, Lucca Rodriguez, Jamila Rodriguez, Giovanni Rodriguez, Bella Rodriguez, Cain Rodriguez, Benjamin Rodriguez, Malie Rodriguez, Ashlyn Rodriguez and the newest addition of Heavenlee Rodriguez. Rosa also had 2 great grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Royalty Hernandez and Kind Lewis. Rosa has left behind so many loved ones. She has touched so many lives with her kind heart and loving words and she will forever be dearly missed. Rosa Rodriguez will never be forgotten. Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 21st, 2022. From 1-3 pm At Iglesia Baptista Juan 3:16. Muleshoe Texas.
