Rosa Lee McCormick Ricketts, 98 formerly of Summit Drive, widow of James Dean Ricketts, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
Born in Bamberg, SC, she was a daughter of the late George and Bessie Croft McCormick. She was the oldest current member of the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, retired from Park Davis/Pro Med, had volunteered for 25 years at Self Regional Hospital, and spent a lifetime of cooking and caring for those in need.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lee Ricketts Watkins of Laurens, grandchildren, Beth Thomas (Dr. Chad), Dr. Sarah Satterfield (Phalen), great-grandchildren, Hannah, Morgan, Ella, Van Thomas, and Peyton and Emma Claire Satterfield.
Friends may view between 9 AM and 3 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals. A celebration of life service will be held at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church at a later date.
