Rosa Davis

Rosa Leona Daniels Davis, age 75, a long-time resident of Beaver, Ohio, died Wednesday January 24, 2024 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born July 31, 1948 in Pike County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Robert "Dick" Daniels and Goldie Williams Vance. She was united in marriage July 20, 1967 to her husband, Henry Davis, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey (Kim) Davis of Beaver, Ohio and Kevin (Leslie) Davis of Athens, Ohio, five grandchildren, Erin (Colton) Brammer, Holt Anderson, Karli Davis, Parker Davis, and Bailey Davis, three great-grandchildren, Marshall, Kennedy, and Blair, one brother, Richard (Janice) Tiller of Waverly, Ohio, and one sister, Jenny Yates of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Cecil Daniels, Delores Daniels, Asa Daniels, Ronnie Daniels, Mike Daniels, Debbie Christian, and Tony Daniels, and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Davis.

Rosa adored and was devoted to her family and was a member of the Minford Community Church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday January 29, 2024 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. Sunday January 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
