Rory Kasparian 65, of Spokane Valley, passed away on March 3, 2022. Rory was born on August 3, 1956, in Spokane, WA to parents Richard and Marian. He graduated from East Valley High School in 1974. Shortly after, he accepted a position at Key Tronic, where he worked for more than 20 years. From there, he worked another 18 years as the General Manager for Apex. He eventually retired in 2020 from AccruFab. In his early years, Rory loved working on cars, water skiing on the Pend Oreille River, fishing, and building things. Later, he enjoyed spoiling his grandkids, spending time at the casino with his sister, hanging out in his shop, tending to his large yard and garden, and caring for stray cats. Rory married the love of his life, Stormy, in August 1998. They spent many years together before cancer took her from him. His family and friends will always remember him as extremely witty and a kind and giving person. To some, he seemed shy or quiet but to us, he was a caring and helpful son, a loving husband and dad, a wonderful brother and uncle, a loyal friend, and a doting papa. Rory is survived by his daughter, Autumn Slowik (Michael), of Henderson, NV, and his stepdaughter, Misty Reed (Marc), of Warrensburg, MO; grandsons, Zackery and Connor; granddaughters, Micah, Jocelyn, and Charlize; sister, Sue Gassman; nephew, Jason Gassman; nieces, Sarah Gassman and Nikki Sears (Marcus); and his cat Max. He is preceded in death by his wife, Stormy Kasparian, his parents, Richard and Marian Kasparian, his brother, David Kasparian, and his girlfriend, Annette Turner. Rory's Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 am on June 23, 2022, at Thornhill Valley Chapel. Rory has always been passionate about helping animals. In his honor, kindly consider donating to SCRAPS in the Spokane Valley.
