Rocky was deeply loved by his family and will be sorely missed. Always quick to throw on a chef's apron, he enjoyed cooking and grilling for family and friends. He had an eclectic taste in music which he would enjoy while singing and dancing. He would look forward to planning trips and vacations. The beach was his favorite place to be, hanging with the rhythmic waves, the warmth of the sun, and finding a shady spot under an umbrella or a palm tree. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. He enjoyed sitting around a campfire with his parents, brothers, in-laws, family, and friends who became his brothers. He was generous, honest, kind, and always willing to help. Rocky was very proud of his children and would speak their praises to a neighboring ear. He was profoundly in love with his wife Leanna who was his comfort and strength. He was a man of faith, served at St. Paul Catholic Church, and loved his community.
A mass for Roque will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Saint Paul Catholic Church, 1119 N. Francisco Ave, Mission, TX 78572. The family invites guests to the neighboring parish hall for a luncheon and celebration of Rocky's life.
