Ronnie Tarleton of Warner Robins, GA passed away May 31, 2022. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home with burial immediately following in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Warner Robins, GA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born in Great Falls, SC on July 16, 1936, he was a son of the late Betty Kathleen and Luther Earl “Luke” Tarlton. Mr. Tarleton was a graduate of Great Falls High School and the University of South Carolina. He played baseball in high school and in the Textile League. He served in the United States Army and then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Robins Air Force Base for over 35 years. He loved wood working in his free time.
Mr. Tarleton was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and volunteer to the church community. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Pruett Tarleton of Hawkinsville, GA; daughter, Vicki Tarleton of Evans, GA; brother, Richard Tarlton (Mary Sue) of China Grove, NC; sister, Ellen Tarlton Lee (James, deceased) of Kershaw, SC; sisters-in-law, Pat Tarlton of Lexington, SC, Linda Tarlton of Lexington, SC, as well as many very special nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Tarlton and Ned Tarlton.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Ronnie to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, PMB #359, Macon, GA 31210.
