Ronnie Plummer, 65 of Canton, Georgia passed away at his home surrounded by family on February 22, 2022.
He was born June 18, 1956 in Oakland, California. to Earl Plummer. He stayed in California while his father served in the Navy and then later moved to Odessa, Texas.
He graduated from Permian High school (MOJO) in 1974. With many life long friends. In 1976 he married Theresa Toft and had two beautiful children Jason and Hayley. Ronnie spent 25 years working at Commercial Ice Machine. During that time he married Suan Plummer in July 5, 1985 in Red River, New Mexico they also had two beautiful children Indy and Jacob. Ronnie and his family moved from Odessa, Texas to Canton, Georgia where he accepted a job with Coca-Cola as the Operations Manager. He retired from Coke as a Senior Tech. after 24 years of service.
Ronnie was an avid rider which included anything with a motor. Dirt bikes, street
bikes, 4-wheelers, boats and cars. The faster the better... even a lawn mower with a nice cold beer after mowing the yard. He always said: "Ride hard or stay home."
Ronnie was always tinkering in his garage which included woodworking, fixing
everything around the house, or washing and waxing his motorcycle on a nice sunny day. Always looking forward to the ride the next day.
He was loving, caring and would give you the shirt off his back. Through out his life he developed many deep friendships.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Suan Plummer, children Jason Plummer and Hayley Varnadore of Phoenix, Arizona, Indy Plummer and Jacob Plummer of Canton, Georgia.
Ronnie has 4 wonderful grandchildren - Joshua and Lily Varnadore, Ryder and Kellan Plummer.
Sisters Cindi Brazell of Flowermound, Texas, Jeri Holder of Midland, Texas and Sherry Fox of Odessa, Texas, and Jennifer King of Louisiana. His "Gram" Kathryn Lewallen and "Nana" Diane King, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The celebration of his life is open for any and all, and will be held Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 AM at Branches of Christ Church, 5946 Jacobs Road SE, Acworth, GA. A luncheon will be served immediately following.
