Ronnie Medford, 73, of Abilene, Texas, passed away, Friday, December 18, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on December 21, 2020 at Howard Cemetery, Paint Creek with Rev. Shawn Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Ronnie was born November 15, 1947 in Haskell, Texas to Lula Mae (Blair) and Leon Medford. He was born and raised in Haskell, and later lived in Odessa before residing in Abilene. He married Sallie (Carter) on October 3, 1969 in Haskell. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, football, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Oldham Church Of Christ in Abilene.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Jean Medford of Abilene; two sons, Timothy Craig Medford of Comanche, Mark Dale Medford and wife Alicia of San Angelo; sister, Wanda Grant and husband Randy of Odessa; 2 granddaughters, Morgan Jean Medford of Abilene, Amber Medford of Comanche; 2 grandsons, Timothy Medford of Comanche, Tyler Dale Medford of Abilene; 5 great grandchildren, Azynn, Taybree, Kambrin, Kenzlie, Kyzer; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Medford; mother, Lula Blair Medford; daughter, Jennifer Jean Medford; brother, Burl Medford.
