Mr. Ronald K. Stough, age 82, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of the late Keith and Wanda (Leipse) Stough, was born on August 14, 1938, in Kokomo, Indiana. A graduate of Kokomo High School in 1956, he attended Northwestern University in Chicago. He was united in marriage to the former Nancy McCormick. He worked as comuter analyst and supervisor at Chicago District Council of Carpenters Benefits Fund until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and enjoyed watercolor painting, genealogy, and being a "Pet Dad" to many over the years. Mr. Stough passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana.
His life will be cherished by his wife, Nancy of Madison; his sons: Mark (Andrea) Stough, Kevin (Linda) Stough, and Harlow Stough; his grandchildren: Cebrian, Jacob, Kate, and Brandon; and his nieces and nephews: Tammy Mohr, Angie Creighton, Jeff Stough, and April Stough. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Lawrence (Kay) Stough, Tom (Linda) Stough and Kurt (Beth) Stough.
The Reverend Evelyn Wheeler will conduct private services at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Christ Episcopal Church, in downtown Madison with inurnment to follow in the church's columbarium wall.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Christ Episcopal Church or Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes or at lytlewelty.com.
