Ronald "Roach" C. Siedschlag, age 69 of Markesan, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, after fighting his courageous battle with cancer for three months and three days. He was staying at his sister, Renee's house in Fairchild, WI and was surrounded by his family.
Ron was born to Carl & Helen (Makurat) Siedschlag on September 13, 1954, in Fond du Lac, WI. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. He also attended Markesan Elementary and High School before graduating in 1972. Ron was a retired over the road truck driver of over 40 years and worked for many companies. He traveled all over the country and hauled green beans in the summer. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cribbage, shooting in pool tournaments, and going to Country Fest in Cadott, WI. He also had his camper in Marquette and spent a lot of time there with family and friends and the road trips they made. The past two years Roach especially enjoyed traveling to the north country to help his nephew, Taylor, with his manure pumping business in the spring and fall.
