Ronald Lucien Ouellette, 62, a resident of Fort Myers, FL, since 2017, formerly of Orange Park, FL, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL. He was born on December 20, 1958 in Sanford, ME.
As a lifelong banker, Ron worked for Wells Fargo for 30 years. He was admired and respected by his co-workers and genuinely loved what he did, his Wells Fargo family will miss him dearly. He enjoyed going to his hometown Meriden, where he could visit family and share his childhood memories with his wife and son. His wife Kim and his son Jason were the joy of his life. Even as Jason grew older, Ron always called him "pumpkin". He enjoyed reading, going to hockey games, catching a sunset on Fort Myers Beach, traveling, playing with the dogs, spending time with his family, and rocking in his La-Z-Boy. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Joseph Ouellette and by Pierre and Lucille VanZaelen, Kim's parents.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kim VanZaelen Ouellette of Fort Myers, FL; son, Jason Ouellette and his fianc?, Taylor Leon of Fort Myers, FL; mother, Beverly Ouellette of Southington, Connecticut; two brothers, Dennis Ouellette of Fort Washington, MD and Steven Ouellette of O'Fallon, MO; three sisters, Pamela Ouellette of Wallingford, CT; Kim Ouellette of Meriden, CT and Karen Coffi of Meriden, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
