Ronald "Ron" Lee Lyons

Ron Lyons died peacefully in his sleep at home in Huntsville on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife, Bonny and her daughter Jennifer, as well as his three children from a previous marriage: Sharon, Mark, and Michelle and their families. He had 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Born in Baytown, he went to Lee High, at Baylor he majored in drama and music, then attended seminary for his degree in Religious Education. Ron was faithful to the Lord all his life; working for a good portion of his life in church work, either as a youth minister, Sunday school coordinator, or music leader, and sometimes a combination of these roles. His personality was upbeat, hardworking, and loved any outdoor physical activity.
