Ronald Hyatt, 84, of Ludden, ND, passed away October 31, 2020 at the Oakes Good Samaritan Society, where he had been a resident since February
Ronald Everett, son of Everett and Beulah (Kircher) Hyatt was born on June 16, 1936 at Ludden, ND, where he grew up. He attended country school in the Ludden area before attending Guelph High School, graduating with the class of 1954.
After his schooling, Ron worked on construction crews in South Dakota, and also worked for a well driller in South Dakota. He was united in marriage to Carol Clark in Hecla, SD on December 1, 1957. Together they had three children, Harley, Daryl, and Julie. Ron began farming with his brother and father, and continued to farm after they both passed away. Ron loved well drilling, and he was always ready and willing to help his neighbors and friends with any well problems that they had.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Harley Hyatt; daughter, Julie Anderson; and four grandsons, Travis Hyatt, Jeremey Hyatt, Dustin Hyatt, and Tyler Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Daryl, and his brother, Howard.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ludden Cemetery, Ludden, ND. Memories may be shared and viewed by visiting www.dahlstromfuneralhome.com
