Ronald A. Gierisch

Ronald A. "Ron" Gierisch, 85, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully Saturday January 11, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.

Born in Patterson, NJ, Ron was the son of the late Joseph Gierisch and Claire Gierisch.

An avid golfer, Ron was a longtime member of Shaker Ridge Country Club in Albany, NY. During his golfing years he achieved 7 Holes-In-One. Ron also loved boating and fishing on Lake George. He retired from M & T Bank in Albany, NY.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Georgiana M. Gierisch, Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Laura (Rich) Henry, Cape Coral, FL; stepdaughter, Lisa (Allen) Pinney, Yardley, PA; sister, Joyce (Donald) Linson, Lynchburg, VA; brothers, David (Sheila) Gierisch, Chestertown, MD; Thomas (Sally) Gierisch, Wickenburg, AZ.

In keeping with Ron's wishes no service will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Ron's name to your favorite charity.
