Ronald "Ron" James Bula, age 80, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born to Michael and Ann Bula on February 17, 1942, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, D. Karen Bula, and three daughters, Kimberly (Brad) Rinzel, Cheryl Bula Norman, and Michelle (John) Bula (Pook). He is further survived by his brother Robert, six grandchildren (Benjamin, Jacob, Kevin, Kayden, Isaac, Cassidy), a niece (Jennifer), and a nephew (Jeremy).
Ron was a kind-hearted man who worked hard, quietly taking care of others. He was employed as a high school teacher for many years in Antigo, Wisconsin, before moving to Milwaukee and eventually becoming an Associate Professor of Business Management at the University of WI-Extension for many years prior to retirement. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and exploring new destinations. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held January 7, 2023, at 3:00 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. New Berlin. The visitation will be from 1:00pm-3:00pm. A small service will follow the visitation, starting at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.
