Kniss: Rhoda Fern, 92 of Davidsville died January 10, 2021 at the Lutheran Home in Johnstown. Born May 10, 1928 in Johnstown the daughter of Henry and Orvetta (Rose) Horner. Preceded in death by parents, husband Sanford R. Kniss who died December 26, 1995, Infant brother Dean, Son-In-Law Gregory George and stepbrother Richard Murray. Survived by these children Dennis and wife Gloria, Barbara and husband Al Cunningham, Pamela George, and Sally Fuge. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Sister of Twila Ringler and Janet Stahl and stepsister of Jean Stevens and William and wife Linda Murray. Rhoda was a member of the Tire Hill Church of the Brethren where she was active on the Board was a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Choir member, a Deaconess, and Quilting. Along with her husband she was active with the Tire Hill Senior Citizens. Family will receive friends Thursday from 10 A.M. until Noon with Masks and Social Distancing at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville. A Graveside service will be held with immediate family with Pastors Jack Rupert and Brian Simmons officiating. A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
