Roger Lewis Walt of Grand Junction CO, passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 79. He was born February 15, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to Cecil A. Walt and Freda D Huthenstadt. Roger spent his childhood in Grand Junction, graduated from Grand Junction High School, then moved on to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he received his degrees for business and speech. After a stint in Albuquerque, NM, Roger settled in Grand Junction.
Roger married his lovely bride, Constance M. Macy, in Denver, Colorado on December 18, 1966. He then served in the U.S. Army about three years from 1967 to 1970. He spent his career in business management while giving some of his free time to the United Methodist Church, The Lions Club and Corvette Club. He had a strong passion for Corvettes and hot air balloons. He is survived by his wife, Constance M. Walt; of Grand Junction CO; and his brother, Ronald S. Walt of Mount Vernon, Washington.
