Roger Lynn Thrasher

Roger Lynn Thrasher, age 82, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on October 29, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1941 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Edgar Thrasher and Arlene Green Wall. Roger was a classic car lover, and also liked to race cars. He loved to travel.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Nell Thrasher; son, Beau Thrasher; daughter, Tracy Kirkpatrick (Jeff); grandchildren, Taylor Caropolo (Mike); and granddog, Badgy.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 4:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Joe Condra officiating. Music will be provided by Barry Abernathy. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Alvin Hill, Robert Clayton, David Clayton, Bobby Hodges, Kenneth Young, David Robinson, and Kenneth McVey. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday, from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour of 4:00 PM.
