Roger Scoggins, 67, of Athens, died July 17, 2024. He was the owner/operator of Kitchen Table Stereo, where he specialized in repairing musical instruments. Roger enjoyed playing the guitar with various bands. Surviving are his mother, Jo Ella Chastain Scoggins; sister, Donna (Kim) Jones. Preceded in death by his father, Monroe Merlin "Gopher" Scoggins; brother, Alan Wayne Scoggins. Services are Monday, July 22, 2PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel; visitation one hour prior. Burial, Forest Hills Memorial Park. Flowers accepted; contributions to the charity of one's choice. Berry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
