Roger W. Reese

Roger W. Reese, 69 of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at his residence. He was a native of Marietta and a graduate of Sprayberry High School. Roger was a graduate of Georgia Southern University. He settled in Fayetteville, Georgia while working for Southern Belting and Transmission. Roger then took a job with Pepperl and Fuchs which later brought him to Marietta, Georgia. He began his career in 1990 as a sales manager and continued work until 2015 when he retired as district manager. Roger was an artistic creative man, a skilled wood carver, gifted at drawing, and going on adventures with his family.

He was the son of the late Theron and Christine Reese.

Surviving are his wife of forty five years Patty Reese of Murphy; and one daughter, Michelle Reinhardt also of Murphy; three grandchildren, Skyler, Haylee and Dillon; one brother, Fred Reese of Marietta, Georgia; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm Saturday, December 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Reverend Wil Posey officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Ivie Funeral Home in Murphy.
