Roger was born in Marysville, Washington on July 30th, 1931 to Hazel Hots and Hugo E. Hots. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1951, and married the love of his life, Patty Lynn Lewis in August of 1951. Roger began his career in retail with B&M Stores Chain, starting in 1949. He worked as a manager at the B&M on Evergreen Way, Everett from 1969 until 1979. At that point, responsibility for the Marysville location was added, and he continued management of both locations until the stores closed in November 1983. He was a busy husband, father, and employee, and lived his life to the fullest. Roger is survived by his four children: son, Roger Hots, Jr (Shirley); daughter, Vicky Wall; daughter, Marilou Callaghan; daughter, Audrey Hammond (Robin); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, including his Native American family. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister, and his wife, Patty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital or Cancer Center at Providence.
