Rodney Wilbur Brumback, 68, of College Park, Md., passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in York Pa. Born October 28, 1953, in Berkeley Springs, WV., he was the son of the late Wilbur and Aquilla Younker Brumback. He was a 1970 graduate of Hancock High School, and a graduate of the University of Maryland. He was a web designer for Halvik for many years. He liked to sketch, write books, and spend time with his family. He is survived by four brothers, Lavon ( Bootsie) and Nelson Brumback, both of Hagerstown, Terry Brumback, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Philip Brumback, of Hancock, Md.; five sisters, Linda Green, of Hagerstown, Md., Mary Brumback, of Chicago, Il., Joyce Younker and Carol Brumback, both of Hancock, Md., and Brenda Mitzel, of York, Pa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Brumback. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 12:00 noon, at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St. Hancock, Md., with viewing two hours prior. Rev Margaret Brack will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Tollgate Ridge Road, Hancock, Md. Military Honors will be provided by the Tristate Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rodney's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116, or to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, Tx., 75284.
