Robin A. Vaillancourt, age 84, of Largo, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Robin's successes began in his youth as an alter boy, an eagle scout, & a published author of poetry. He graduated from St Petersburg Junior College where he was President of his fraternity before receiving a grant from Senator Greene to attend Annapolis Naval Academy. After Annapolis, he continued his education at the University of FL where he received his Industrial Engineering Degree, & shortly thereafter his Honorable Discharge from the US Navy. Being bilingual he received a managerial position at St. Regis paper Co in Canada but soon returned to Florida to receive his Juris Doctorate from Stetson Law School while serving as Vice Chairman of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity in St Petersburg, Fl. While building his law practice, he served as Municipal Judge for the Town of Indian Shores for 8 years & taught Real Estate at St Petersburg College. Robin also owned a land development company, building the area's first Professional Center, a condominium, & a Subdivision in Port Richey. There were more developments & accomplishments in Africa & the Arab Emirates, but his best accomplishments were his love & devotion to his family who always came first. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Vaillancourt; his 3 children, Kristi Parr of Seminole FL, Aimee Vaillancourt of Clearwater FL, and Robin Vaillancourt Jr of Seminole FL; 4 grandchildren, Katryn Wagner of Saint Augustine FL, Maranda Parr of Seminole FL, Victoria Parr of Seminole FL, and Noah Vaillancourt of Seminole FL; 1 great grandchild, Haven Raine Parr & (soon to be born) Keaton Joseph; a brother in law, Derryl Allman (Deborah Allman) of Camas Washington & Sun Lakes, AZ; a nephew, Derrick Allman of Camas WA; & niece, Danielle Walcott (Jonathan Walcott) of Colorado. Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home located at 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Fl on Friday December 9 at 10:30 AM. Graveside blessing immediately following.
