Robert E. Williams, 94, of Franklin, Indiana entered into Heaven on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Robert (Bob) was born on September 1, 1924 in Speedway, Indiana to C. H. and Lena Williams; both preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his brother, C. H. Williams Jr. and sister, Joyce (Williams) McHaffey.
Bob attended Speedway High School graduating in 1942. He enlisted into the Air Force and served our country during World War II as an Air Force Cryptologist. Upon completing his time in the service he married the love of his life, Helen J. Stewart on September 1, 1946. They had 5 children; their middle son, Jeffrey Williams preceded him in death.
Other survivors include his remaining four children, Stephanie (Tom) Eppley of Cincinnati, OH,
Greg (Linda) Williams of Beech Grove, IN, Susie (Bill) Green of Franklin, IN and Julie (Greg)
Stewart of Lafayette, IN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Bob continued in the family business, Alliance Machine and Engineering for many years. Upon retirement he moved to Frostproof, Florida for many years where he enjoyed traveling and riding his motorcycle.
A graveside service will be conducted for family on Saturday, June 29th to honor the life and influence of Bob. He will be greatly missed.
