Robert "Bob" Williams, Born in Amite, Louisiana, and preceded in death by parents, Lee Terry and Katherine Weigel and siblings, Huey and Terry Williams and Katherine Lee Thom. Served in World War II U.S Air Force 121st Liaison Squadron as an Official War Photographer. Afterward, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he honed his photography skills, becoming an award-winning Photojournalist and earning the position of Picture Editor at the City newspaper, The Commercial Appeal. During his 33-years at the publication, he earned numerous awards and a tremendous following of subscribers who watched daily for his Feature Pictures depicting life's humor, sadness, irony, and beauty. He was a Deacon at Germantown Baptist Church. He leaves his devoted wife of 70-years, Mary Jo, who was the love of his life, three children, and four grandchildren.
