It is with great sadness that on April 12, 2022, we lost our loving husband, father, and Papa, Robert (Bob) Wilde, husband of Elizabeth (Eschner) Wilde, at the age of 90. Bob was born on December 12, 1931, in Farmington, CT, he was the son of the late Robert and Sophie (Kohan) Wilde. Bob was predeceased by his siblings, Henry, and Jean. Besides his wife Elizabeth, Bob is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Becky Wilde of Bristol, and Kerrie and Scott Holliday of Burlington, CT; his brother Donald Wilde of Bristol; his three grandchildren Caitlin, Calvin, and Cayleigh Holliday and several nieces and nephews. Bob loved baseball, fishing, and time with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife Bette and friends, and spending time on the Cape with his family. Visiting hours will be at 10 am on Tuesday, April 19 at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, followed by a funeral service at DuPont Funeral Home. Burial will follow at West Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, 154 Meadow Street, Bristol, CT 06010.
