Robert Daniel Vinton, 88, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away suddenly on February 4, 2021.
Robert (Bobby) was born on April 16, 1932 to Robert S. and Julia A. Vinton in Baltimore, Maryland. After high school, he married Joan Klaburner and had two daughters, Diane and Glenda. He maintained a long and notable career as an electrician, holding positions at the once famous Hutzler's Department Store in Baltimore and the Motion Pictures Studio Hospital in Calabasas, California.
Bobby was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. He was unendingly proud of his daughters and always tried his best to support them and surprise them. A true patriot, Bobby was also a passionate hunter, amateur musician and had many social interests. He would always put a smile on your face.
Anyone who knew Bobby knew that he was the most loving father and grandfather a family could ask for. He is survived by daughters Diane Keep and Glenda Cauthen, grandchildren Erik Kaniecki, Cybil Noreika, E.J. Noreika, Echo Creel, Sarah Cauthen, Amber Cauthen and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association. A seaside Celebration of Life will be planned later in 2021.
