Robert Sequerth died Dec. 30, 2021, after a short illness, at 90.
Born in March 4, 1931, he lived in LeRoy, NY, until 1977 when he was promoted to Southeast Region sales manager, and moved his family moved to Atlanta. He called on utility customers from North Carolina to Arkansas. He reluctantly retired after 48 years with his company, and shortly thereafter, moved full time to Lake Hartwell, where he continued to enjoy golf with his friends and time on the lake with his family.
Bob was predeceased by his wife of nearly 66 years, the former Ann Gleason, in 2020, and by the youngest of their seven children, Michael. He is survived by his children: John of Roswell, GA; Mark of Pflugerville, Texas; Catherine (Harvey) Meyer of Dunwoody, GA; Richard (Kathryn) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Martha (Ronald) Olsen of Johns Creek, GA; and David (Nora) of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, who gave him great pleasure to the very end.
He will be buried in Atlanta. A memorial Mass will be held at a future date at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA.
