Mr. Robert Lee Schneider, 90, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021. He was born March 4, 1931 in Johnstown, PA to the late Walter Lewis Schneider and Lela Weaver Schneider. Mr. Schneider is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving domestically and for several years, in Baumholder, Germany. Afterward he worked at the National Security Agency for 40 plus years and was awarded the Meritorious Medal of Achievement for CIA Director Robert Gates. Mr. Schneider lived a life of faithful service to God's Kingdom as a devoted husband, father and OPA to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Throughout his life he shared his passions for fishing, golfing and sports and enjoyed traveling extensively with his wife and family. He leaves a profound and lasting legacy of love, community service, patriotism, and generosity to be honored and carried on by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marlene Rae Schneider and brother, Fred Ray Schneider. He is survived by his three children, Jeff Schneider (Billie), Steve Schneider (Tina), and Cindy Kramer (Jeff); nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. A private funeral service will be conducted at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Steve Schneider officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 131 S.
