Robert Carroll Musser , 46 Aug 22, 1974 - Jan 25, 2021 Robert Carroll Musser, 46, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed from this life after a lengthy battle with cancer on January 25, 2021. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen, of 22 years; his three children, Aiden, Zephan, and Caitlin; his father and stepmother Carroll and Roberta Routzahn of Falling Waters, WV; his mother Nancy M. Musser Skeen of Winchester, VA; his parents-in-law Stephen and Linda Anders of Keedysville, MD; his sisters, Patricia McDonnell Hassell of Winchester, VA and Sister Mara Rose McDonnell, O.P., of Limerick City, Ireland, and his brother-in-law S. Chris Anders of Lovettsville, VA. A graduate of Middletown High School, Robert enjoyed marching band, drum line, jazz band, and drum corp. He studied music at Frederick Community College and was a talented percussionist and an outstanding jazz drummer. Being an avid musician, Robert also explored the world of audio/video design and worked as a manufacture representative for the Sigmet Corporation family. Robert used his musical talents and audio education for his home church, Burnside First Church of God, devoting his heart in helping and serving others. However, Robert's greatest talent was his ability to communicate and connect with individuals and to appreciate people on all levels. A devoted husband and father, his favorite subject of conversation was always his family and the many activities they enjoyed together from planting a garden to raising chickens, from restoring a '71 Beetle to family trips. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd, at 1:00 pm, at Burnside First Church of God, in Sharpsburg, MD, with Pastor Ernie Witmer officiating. Overflow seating will be provided outside. Masks and social distancing are requested. Family and friends are invited to a social gathering to celebrate Robert's life, from 2-4 pm at Middletown Fire Department Activities Center, Middletown, MD.
