Rev. Robert P. McNeel, 89, of Somerset, died peacefully on December 5, 2020. Born May 14, 1931 to the late Howard C. and Lois (Stephens) McNeel. He is preceded in death by loving wife ,Joyce (Osselburn); grandsons, Nathan and John Skogen; siblings, Dorothy, Harp and George. Robert is survived by his children, Robert Jr. (Kim), Kathleen, Keith (Tammy) and Mark (Tina); grandchildren, Brittany (Chad), Rebecca, Benjamin (Tracy), Samuel, Kelsey, Ryan, Faith and Luke; and great-grandchildren, Lilly and Natalie. He is also survived by his siblings, Jann and Victor. Robert was a graduate of Nyack Missionary College. After graduation, he and Joyce spent 21 years doing mission work between Vietnam, Phillipines, Malasia and Thailand. Upon returning to the United States, he Pastored C & MA churches in Somerset and Jeannette, PA. He also worked with Chalet Retreat Ministry in Tennessee. He is a member of the Somerset C & MA church. Robert was an avid motorcycle rider who loved spending time with his wonderful family. Family will receive guests from 11am to the time of service at 1pm at the Somerset Christian Missionary Alliance Church, on Wednesday, December, 9. Interment will be private. Arrangements by MILLER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of Somerset.
