Lucht, Robert Lee, age 71, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 6th, 2021. His wife of 47 years, Kathleen, and his son, Nathan were by his side. Robert was born in northern Minnesota to Charles and Anita Lucht and had three siblings, Kathleen, Kenneth and Claudia.
Robert was a Marine and served in the Vietnam War. Shortly after returning home, he met his wife, Kathleen in Minneapolis where they had their only child, Nathan. Robert spent his free time with his family and friends. His passion though was coaching his son and his son's friends in sports. Robert spent his 30+ year career at Tennant Company. Upon retirement, he and Kathleen retired to The Villages, Florida where they enjoyed attending Renaissance Festivals together. Robert also kept busy with a part-time job at Coconut Cove recreation center in the Villages. He and Kathleen especially liked to travel to Chicago where they would enjoy spending time with their grandchildren watching them play sports, dance and perform in musicals.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen and son, Nathan, Robert is survived by his two sisters (Kathleen and Claudia) and his three granddaughters (Lillian, Eleanor and Adeline).
A memorial service will be held at a future date in Florida. The family asks in lieu of flowers or a donation that you use the funds to help make a special memory with your family or friends.
