Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO Robert attended the University of Colorado and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado where he played baseball. He was a retired captain of the United States Air Force serving in New Hampshire, Nebraska and Japan.
In Mr. Lanari's professional life he was a stockbroker and vice president of Bosworth Sullivan. He later owned and operated Wall Street West a successful brokerage firm in Greeley, Denver and Palm Springs.
Bob was an avid golfer, loved to hunt and fish.
He liked to watch old western movies, was a passionate reader and an accomplished gardener. Bob loved strolling thru his beautiful flower gardens.
He had a zest for life and a strong faith.
Bob loved a good steak, a stiff drink and a Cuban cigar.
Mr. Lanari was a former member of the Greeley Country Club and Rotary Club. He was actively involved in the Cherry Hills Community Church.
Bob was proceeded in death by his first wife Anita Noffsinger Lanari, second wife Nomi Baker Lanari, brother Elmer Lanari and sister Rosemary Gordon.
He is survived by his children Loni Ferrier, Brad Lanari, Lisa Lanari and step sons Gene Baker, David Baker, Mark Baker and Matt Baker. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grand child.
