Robert C. Koloszar, 79, passed away at 8:00am Friday, January 15, 2021 in Briarcliff Health & Rehab from complications of Covid-19. Robert was born on April 4, 1941 in South Bend to Frank and Elizabeth Koloszar. They preceded him in death along with a sister Elizabeth "Tootsie" Urbanski. Bob retired in 2005 from the South Bend Community School Corporation where he was employed for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and roller skating in his younger years. Surviving are a daughter, Tina Casavant of Pawtucket, RI; sons, Mark (Joan Parmley) Koloszar of Mishawaka, and Brian (Kimberly) Koloszar of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Zachary Casavant, Cody Casavant, Alexis (Preston) Newbraugh, and Abby Koloszar; a great-grandchild Sylas Newbraugh and brother Frank (Norma) Koloszar Jr. There will be no services, cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer & Dementia Services. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
