In remembrance of Robert (Bob) Kern, born October 2, 1946 in Detroit, MI to Oswald Joseph Kern and
Eula Steih Kern, passed on April 28, 2021. To know him was to love him and to always have someone to
have a good time with. He adored his family and friends and that is what meant most to him in life. He
is survived by his daughter, Krista, son-in-law, Terry and his grandchildren, Madalyn and Callen. He
cherished his late wife, Madalyn, his parents, 4 brothers, 6 sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dearest
friends. Success is loving what you do, and this was evident throughout his professional endeavors, he
held a high regard for working for Accuray and ABB as a Process Control Engineer. He also loved to share
stories about growing up in Michigan with childhood dreams of moving to California, high school days,
the Airforce and Alaska, shooting pool, horseshoes, bowling, playing basketball, snowmobiling, the
Niner's, Bob Seger, and his feathered friends. And over the years we have all had countless
conversations with him that will never be forgotten and if you just needed him to be there, he always
was.
And may we always remember, as he always did...those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul...
