Robert Graham Jackson Jr. passed away suddenly on the morning of Jan. 5, 2012, during his 57th year.
A devoted father and son, he will never be forgotten.
Robb was born in New Castle, graduated from Bluffton High School in 1973, and was a 1978 graduate of Purdue University.
He is survived by his three sons and their wives; David Brian and Marni Jones, Carl Adrian Jones, and Andrew Vaughan and Kristina Jones, all of Dallas, Texas; his parents, the Reverend Dr. and Mrs. Robert G. Jackson Sr. of Anderson; his brothers, Phillip Gene of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Richard Gregg of Lafayette; and his sister, Jennifer Jackson-Pawlak of South Bend. He is also survived by his beloved six grandchildren, Cailey and Caleb Abbe, Dylan, Caleb, Braxton, and Molly Jones. He is the former husband of Ellie Braxton Jackson of Plano, Texas.
Robb’s passion was service to underprivileged children. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a children’s charity of your choice in his honor.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the First United Methodist Church, 1215 Jackson Street, Anderson.
